THE FOLLOWING SOFTWARE IS DESIGNED TO RUN ON WINDOWS 95 OR 98
Internet Explorer 4.01 SP1 - with Service Pack 1 (SP1) is the latest release of
Microsoft's Web browser. IE 4.01's support for key Internet standards, such as
Dynamic HTML, Java, and the Channel Definition Format (CDF), means you can watch videos,
listen to real-time broadcasts, and play games on the Internet through your browser. IE
4.01 works with your Windows 95 OS to bring new functionality and Active Channels
to your desktop. During Active Setup, you can choose which elements of the full install
you want (including Active Desktop, Outlook Express, NetMeeting, FrontPage Express, and
Microsoft Chat 2.0). SP1 adds year 2000 fixes, security and bug fixes previously
released as patches, and changes requested by specific corporations and Web sites for
their intranet and Internet users. If you have no problems with your current version of IE
4.01 and aren't interested in any of these items, there is no need to upgrade to 4.01 SP1.
Note: IE 4.0 features Active Setup (a 433K file), which requires that you maintain your Internet connection after you double-click the ie4setup.exe. Microsoft recommends that you uninstall any preview releases of this software before installing the latest version. Also note that the displayed version number will remain as 4.0.

Netscape Communicator4 Full
- Communicator 4.5 is the latest release of the Internet software suite from Netscape.
